What can I do to have leftovers taste good at work the next day?

I’ve made pretty good meals a few times now that are great at home the first night, but for some reason aren’t as tasty the next day . what can I do to preserve flavor? also are there any foods that don’t do well in the fridge or microwave?

I usually add some spices or seasonings (after reheating) to give them some punch. Or you could also try altering the dish- like if you had leftover chicken & beans, you could roll them up in a tortilla with cheese. Any simple changes makes it in to a new dish so you’ll be less inclined to compare it to the nice fresh one you had the night before. I hope I helped!
