At our schools graduation, we all get a rose with differences relating to each of us (accents, ribbons, etc.) I wanted to know how I can preserve said rose. I would like to be able to keep it forever. It is very special to me. Thank you for answering!
The rose, itself, won’t last "forever".
You can preserve it for a few years 2 ways,
1. Hang it upside down in a dark cool room.
2. Go to any craft store and buy silica desiccant. Read the label for usage.
I WOULD put it in wax paper and press it between pages in a book! OR THERE IS A SUBSTANCE FOR POURING OVER A BAR TOP that is clear and it gets hard, you can put it in a vase type glass and pour the liquid in and it will get hard and preserve it!
References :
You could freeze it or dry it.

To dry it, buy thick parchment paper and white tissue. Sandwich the rose in between the paper with he parchment paper on the bottom and put a heavy hard covered book on top. Don’t move it for at least a week.
