I have a B.A. in education and I am looking for an additional degree so that I won’t be teaching forever. I want to work outdoors, studying life, and collecting and documenting samples for analysis. I love all wildlife, plants, and trees. Some desk work is ok but I prefer to be outdoors most of the time. My goal is to work at preserving nature. I already have my bachelors but don’t mind going back to school. Any suggestions?
You should get a degree in Forestry. With that degree you could apply to work with the US Forest Service. They usually put out the forest fires, remove dead trees, plant new trees, maintain camping sites, fill lakes with fish for fishing, stuff like that.
