Even as a liberal, I like this guy. His ideas are wholeheartedly his own and not influenced by political party. Any administration would be stronger with Ron as an advisor on economic issues. However, as a liberalish person, I don’t agree with him in enough of the issues to support him as a presidential candidate.

We can never fight the maching. Bullshit! A candybar can stop a car. A rock can stall and engine. Just keep doing what you’re doing. Inform one person a day about LIBERTY and FREEDOM! They’re popular!

A glossy veneer without truth should be shunned at all costs.

It’s so congress and America can “open up their books” (their being the Federal Reserve) and see what the they are doing with all our money. Currently their books are not transparent and they can hide a lot from us.

    I think Friedman …
I think Friedman wanted to print money at a constant rate, i.e., 3% per year, instead of adjusting it to speed up or slow down the economy (what Bernanke refers to as the countercyclical theory). I think this is why they call him a monetarist libertarian. Mises and Rothbard want to let the market choose its money, so it could be gold or any commoditiy. Rothbard also wrote an essay on how he hates Friedman because Friedman was very socialist in some cases. Rockwell had it on his blog.
