    100 meters. If I …
100 meters. If I had to choose between the two I would select the m4 due to ease of reload and ergonomics. But one hit is that I don’t think the AR platform has the “personality” that other firearms have.

which do you prefer? and you were at 100 meters in this vid?

    Thanks for the view …
Thanks for the view, the unit I’m firing in the vid is an Olympic Arms upper with a generic mil-spec A1 sight. Funny you should mention soldiers and sight adjustment, BigSarge101 was telling me the other day that during his 2005 deployment to OIF, M16 sight adjustment tools were difficult to come by as command doesn’t want the soldiers to up their sights.

Harry, thanks a bunch for the view. It’s a real cool setup they have there. It is 1 mile west of US19 in West Central Florida. There are 5 shooting areas currently established, Skeet, 50 yd (where defensive pistol and other shooting sports go on); the 100M (where this footage is shot, sectioned off 25ft, 50ft, 50M, and 100M; an archery range; and last but by no means least 200M.

One day my friend and I went to the range to sight in our iron sights on our M4s. It took my friend who was in the Military for 18 years 40 rounds, lol. I needed 7 rounds. He would not listen to me when I told him how many clicks to go. We were using the Matech GI issue sight.

I’m pretty sure you would do fine. One thing is for certain though, the sks and m4 are no where near the same class of firearms.

    One of the range …
One of the range officers heard me talking to the camera about my sights being off and not having a tool. He offered me the use of a hammer so that I could drift the windage on the front site post. I’m turning into such a spaz that I said, “Thank you but I cant be beating on this thing so close to the crown of the barrel.”

    Hey man under …
Hey man under pressure you reloaded that SKS good. I could not do that no way, I would have pinched my thumb.

Thank you for the view future. Those words are very true, as for me to have time at the range is really a great time.

Now for the bonus round, contestants will guess how much money in ammunition is expended on that video. :)
