To determine the number of deer in a game preserve, a conservationist catches 638 deer, tags them and lets them loose. Later, 312 deer are caught; 156 of them are tagged. How many deer are in the preserve?

312/156 * 638 = 1276

    638 times 312 then divide by 156….its been awhile but I think this is right. 1276
