I’m looking for recipes that use energy drink( not drink recipes), preferably not baking ( im trying to preserve the energy-goodness) does anyone have any or know of any???
no. honestly i think that in order to get the full "benefit" of the red bull you need to drink the whole can. in order to do that you would end up eith a drink recipe at the end. You can try one neat fruit recipe though
1/2 watermelon
1 cantaloupe, cut in half, seeded
2 tablespoons freshly chopped mint leaves plus whole sprigs, for garnish
2 tablespoons freshly chopped basil leaves plus whole sprigs, for garnish
1 lemon juiced (1/4 cup)
1/4 cup simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves, cool)
1 tablespoon RedBull
Scoop 2 cups each from the watermelon and the cantaloupe using a melon baller. Carve the remainder of the watermelon out and reserve shell.
Add to a blender the chopped mint, chopped basil, lemon juice, simple syrup and RedBull. Blend until smooth.
Add the watermelon and cantaloupe balls to the carved out watermelon half.
Add the vinaigrette to the balls and toss to combine.
Garnish with the mint and basil sprigs and taste.
My husband and I are very interested in researching our local connections to the Civil War. We have gone to a few local cemeteries and gotten the names of soldiers who fought during the war, but we aren’t sure where to look to find out more info about them and where they came from. Anyone who might know a website or two that could aide us in our research, please let me know.
It is our dream to help preserve our local history for our children and future generations.
These may be helpful, but I really don’t know!

The game I would want to attend is the last game at Tiger Stadium in Detroit. That game is the most important baseball game I have ever watched and although I attended the second to last game at Tiger Stadium this was the last MLB game that ever was played at Tiger Stadium. Today, Tiger Stadium stands vacant and although there have been some amateur games played there along with the movie 61 was filmed at Tiger Stadium, the stadium today sits abandoned and I since I do not ever see it being used again in the future, I think that the stadium should be demolished but the field should be preserved for future generations to play baseball.
White Soxs and the Cubs….I like the cross town rivalry.
My brother made some apple preserves and sent me 4 jars. I’ve only got 3 left and I wanted to try to make an apple pie with them. Does anyone have any good recipes? Don’t include ones that need evaporated milk, condensed milk, or nutmeg, because I don’t have any of that and I’m not wasting my milk to make homemade evaporated milk.
If it’s thick enough and enough of it spice it up with brown sugar and cinnamon with raisins and put it in a pie crust. mix it with some pie filling if not enough to fill a pie pan.

Friedrich A. Hayek, Nobel laureate in economics and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1991, responds to a question posed by a student at Stanford University in the 1970s. The question pertains to the prospect of free markets in a democracy if reform measures are seen as unpopular.
His answer seems relevant today given the crisis in the United States and particularly in regards to the proposal submitted to Congress by Treasury Secretary Paulson.

The kiosk at the entrance to the Macnamara Nature Trail is at the end of McLean Ave. across from the Arnprior Amateur Ball Association diamonds.
This trail takes one through the Nopiming Game Preserve (a game sanctuary since 1920, whose creation was promoted by Macnamara). Nopiming is an Indian term meaning “in the woods.” It was originally intended to protect the beaver colonies living by the Ottawa River. Access to the preserve is courtesy of Honeywell Nylon Canada Inc., which owns the land. This trail is maintained by the Macnamara Field Naturalists’ Club.
The total distance for this trail is 3.7 km, with the Macnamara Nature Trail a further 4.5 km round trip.
